Talking to people who have similar problems can be extremely therapeutic. The Cork Deaf Association has a support group for people with hearing problems and new. Sarah Good, coordinator of the Cork Deaf Association, encourages people to participate in the week and to learn about the support available. The Cork Promotion Working Group will meet on Tuesday, March 28 from 11:00 a.m.

to 1:00 p.m., at the offices of the Cork Deaf Association on MacCurtain Street, in Cork City. The Cork Association of the Deaf, Cork's advocacy group for the deaf or hard of hearing, will offer free hearing tests today (Monday) at its MacCurtain Street facilities, as part of Cork's Hearing Loss Awareness Week, a series of events that will take place between Monday 17 and 21 October.
