Irish Association for Hearing Problems www, ihha, i.e. The IHHA is an association for people who acquire hearing loss after developing their verbal communication skills. This is a small Irish charitable and voluntary organization that campaigns for greater awareness of hearing loss, greater access to services and that supports each other.

Of the approximately 1000 deaf people surveyed, 85% prefer a deaf counselor or therapist rather than a hearing counselor or therapist. Ie Irish Deaf Kids (IDK) is an impact initiative aimed at supporting inclusive general education for deaf children in Ireland. The Cork Deaf Association is committed to the empowerment of deaf and hard of hearing people in the city and county of Cork through the provision of information, promotion and support services.
