Cork Deaf Association, 5 Mac Curtain Street, Cork City, Ireland. The NAD Law and Defense Center educates, advocates and litigates on behalf of and to empower people who are deaf and hard of hearing. We advocate for legislative and public policy issues that concern the deaf and hard of hearing community, particularly at the national level and often in collaboration with other national organizations. We cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, captions, early intervention, education, employment, emergency preparedness, health care, technology, and transportation.

The Cork Deaf Association, Cork's advocacy group for deaf or hard of hearing people, will offer free hearing tests today (Monday) at its MacCurtain Street facilities, as part of Cork's Hearing Problems Awareness Week, a series of events between Monday, October 17 and 21.The Cork Deaf Association is committed to empowering deaf and hard of hearing people in the city and county of Cork by providing information, promotion and support services. We also offer follow-up support and advice on hearing aids and adapting to hearing loss at the Cork Deaf Association.
