A variety of alarm clocks specially created for deaf and hard of hearing people allow you to choose the one that best suits your needs. The Cork Deaf Association is committed to the empowerment of deaf and hard of hearing people in the city and county of Cork through the provision of information, promotion and support services. Hearing rehabilitation focuses on reducing difficulties related to hearing loss. We also offer follow-up support and advice on hearing aids and adapting to hearing loss at the Cork Deaf Association.
The Cork Association of the Deaf, Cork's advocacy group for the deaf or hard of hearing, will offer free hearing tests today (Monday) at its MacCurtain Street facilities, as part of Cork's Hearing Loss Awareness Week, a series of events that will take place between Monday 17 and 21 October. Sarah Good, coordinator of the Cork Deaf Association, encourages people to participate in the week and to learn about the available supports.
